Steve Smith,is currently the Director of Facilities & Planning for California Baptist University in Riverside. His prior employment in a similar position with Campus Crusade for Christ at Arrowhead Springs, California introduced him to the significance that camp settings play in the spiritual journey of Christian disciples. That knowledge will help him combine his professional training with a personal sensitivity to the world of Christian camping. Steve and his wife, Kris are very active in the couples’ ministry at Sandals Church. Steve worked with Promise Keepers as the Riverside-San Bernardino Counties Task Force Manager, and in that role saw firsthand how faith transforms men as husbands and fathers. That, combined with his ministry with couples, helps Steve envision Eagle Ridge Camps as a place, not just for children and youth, but also for adults at all stages of their lives.
